Who we are

We welcome you to Pelion and especially to the Restaurant Psistaria Kafe "I Plateia", we invite you to taste the best of our area in the unique square overlooking the endless blue of the Aegean. We are open daily from morning at 8.00 until late at night, we serve delicious Mediterranean-Pelion cuisine with a wonderful variety of wines in bulk and bottled. We grow most of our vegetables in our own garden right next to the restaurant.

Here in the square of Mouresi for the last ten years Mrs. Litsa with love and endless passion cooks "Mama's food" in Pelion recipes, authentic and handmade. The zucchini flowers from her box stuffed with rice or cheese are from Mrs. Litsa's souks, not to mention her stuffed, the imam or the cooked meats (goat, beef and wild boar).

The tavern is open all year round and Mrs. Litsa is always ready to offer seasonal delicious surprises, a gift of Pelion Nature: vergia, wild mushrooms and an incredible variety of wild herbs.

In the summer evenings, the grilled meats of the spit and the grilled meats are smoked: kebabs, pancetoules, steaks, burgers and delicious skewers (as K. Giannis, the son of Mrs. Litsa, knows and cooks them).

Do you like traditional? Here in Mouresi in the most beautiful village of Pelion, many young couples in recent years choose to get married. In Pelion, weddings are traditionally held. The groom and the bride go to church accompanied by violins, lutes and accordion. After the end of the mystery, the couple's parents together with the candies serve the guests the traditional local baklava with local honey and roasted walnuts.

In the square of the village Mouresi, under the big lindens, the visitor can enjoy his coffee or traditional appetizers, cooked, grilled of the hour, cooked with pure ingredients of our own production.

We accept reservations for weddings, baptisms, receptions in the spacious outdoor area of the square, with beautiful sea and mountain views.

An interior space of 150 people is also available. The area has car parking. Free WiFi hotspot.
